Starting Sept. 23, some 600 of North America’s travel industry experts who specialize in distribution and revenue will descend on Chicago for some major networking and lively debates.
That’s when EyeforTravel’s annual Travel Distribution Summit North America takes place. The two-day conference this year is being held at the design-driven Radisson Blu Aqua hotel.
The conference will tackle various hot topics such as search, mobile trends and online marketing.
The role that technology is increasingly playing in hotel revenue management will also be spotlighted during the first-day panel (11 a.m. to 12:30 local time) that will include ReviewPro’s Director of Business Development, Josiah Mackenzie. If you’re coming to TDS, look for the panel called, “Revenue Management Leaders: The Face of the New Online Travel Space.”
The panel comes at a time when revenue managers must keep up with the fast-paced changes in the online travel space, as new distribution channels pop up and the more established channels work to innovate. Joining Mackenzie on the panel will be senior revenue and distribution executives from companies such as Hilton Worldwide and privately held investment firm Starwood Capital.
