Google+ Local is introducing a new rating scheme that combines Zagat’s 30-point scale with user-contributed reviews:
Combining traditional guidebook recommendations (Zagat) with user-written reviews is an interesting move as Google further integrates its social network into its entire product portfolio. The Meatball Shop and Mio Restaurant are good examples of how the new business pages will look.
