E-Hospitality Partners with ReviewPro to Support Middle East Tourism Industry

February 22, 2017 – Manama, Bahrain – E-Hospitality, a tourism consultancy firm, and ReviewPro, world leaders in Guest Intelligence solutions for the hotel industry, have agreed to work together to serve the hospitality and tourism industry in the Middle East.

Today, 92% of travelers indicate that online ratings and reviews influence their decision making*. The hospitality industry understands the importance of this, with 72% of hoteliers believing integration of guest reviews into official star rating systems is either “Extremely Important” or “Very Important,” according to a recent study from the Cornell Center for Hospitality Research and the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

E-Hospitality was founded by Dr. Essa Faqih to address this opportunity. Dr. Faqih has guided the Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and Qatar Tourism Authorities to upgrade their existing Hotel Classification and Rating system to incorporate online review data, and recently signed a partnership with Arab Tourism Organization (ATO) to implement a regional upgrade in the hotel classification system.

“Our review of various online review analytics tools showed ReviewPro to provide the best data and reporting functionality on the market now for tourism authorities and hospitality organizations,” remarked Dr. Faqih. “I want to help build the future of the tourism and hospitality industry with guest insights, and this partnership will enable us to do this.”

ReviewPro provides its Global Review Index™ and Guest Intelligence technology to more than 30,000 hospitality clients worldwide and partners such as Cornell’s Center for Hospitality Research and the UN World Tourism Organization. Tourism industry partners include the Automobile Association in the UK and Star Ratings Australia, who provide hotels across those countries with access to ReviewPro’s online platform to listen to guest feedback and identify where action should be taken to improve.

“Dr. Faqih is a renowned thought leader on the topic of incorporating the voice of the customer into quality evaluation for tourism destinations. We are excited to be working together with him, and look forward to supporting tourism authorities across the Middle East and the hotels, restaurants and visitors they serve,” said RJ Friedlander, CEO of ReviewPro.
