BTO poised to attract global tech professionals in hospitality

Heading to Italy’s Buy Tourism Online (BTO) event on December 3rd?

The 6th annual BTO conference is expected to attract more than 6,500 people and cover hot industry topics such as the future of technology within the tourism and hospitality industries. ReviewPro will be at Stand 27 in the Spadolini Hall.

“Over the years, we have had an increasing presence of technology professionals. Fundamentally, BTO talks to lodging operators, from the smallest bed and breakfast to the biggest chains,” Giancarlo Carniani, the organizer and founder of BTO told BookingBlog. Carniani is also the GM of Mulino di Firenze, a ReviewPro client based in Tuscany.

Given the growing desire among hoteliers to harness data analytics to better listen to their customers, ReviewPro CEO RJ Friedlander will discuss the use of ReviewPro’s software and how bolstering a hotel’s online reputation score – as measured by the Global Review Index™ – can boost occupancy, revenue per available room and rate.

How clients use ReviewPro will also be discussed.

During BTO, Friedlander will take the stage to interview hospitality social media consultant Daniel Edward Craig about current online reputation trends that he’s seeing among boutique hotels, family owned hotels and chains. Many of you recently heard Craig, CEO of, lead ReviewPro’s live #TwitterForHotels webinar that featured Twitter travel chief Mike de Jesus.

Wilma Vanni, ReviewPro’s sales director for Italy, and Francesca Farenga, sales manager for Italy, will also attend BTO.
